Dan Sullivan grew up on a small farm in rural Virginia where he learned the value of hard work and appreciation for nature and harmony with our surrounding environment. He spent his youth learning how to produce short films and shoot photos in the emergence of the digital age before switching gears to study anthropology, focusing on ethnography and linguistics.
In 2014, Dan began developing the Corporate Communications department for the Canon Virginia, Inc. manufacturing facility and became the company’s first-ever Digital Media Specialist. While working for Canon, Dan frequently spent weekends traveling throughout the Blue Ridge mountains on solo-hiking adventures with his camera in order to reconnect with nature and further develop his skills as a photographer and outdoor enthusiast.
Now living in Port Angeles, WA, Dan enjoys visiting the Olympic National Park and surrounding areas. As the media specialist and drone pilot for Peninsula Environmental Group, Dan brings his photo and video production skills to the community and is helping make awesome things happen.
