Peninsula Environmental Group Inc. is a small environmental services and design company based in Port Angeles Washington, with satellite offices in Port Townsend, Olympia and Eugene. We are a contemporary, innovative natural resource management company with clients across western and central Washington, western Oregon, and northern Michigan. Our clients include the public, private, non-profit, and industrial sectors. We provide natural resource and environmental consulting services, wilderness and environmental construction, and vegetation management services.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

LOCATION: PORT ANGELES EAST

Hours: 20 hours a week, or more depending on schedule.

8:00 am to 12:00 pm Monday – Thursday. (Hours are flexible.)

Compensation: $15-$21 per hour, fun and passionate working environment, after three months health insurance, IRA retirement plan, sick pay and vacation pay.

Responsibilities: Answer phone calls, take notes from customers, ask questions regarding their project, provide guidance on prices and project updates where relevant.

BIOLOGICAL  TECHNICIAN

LOCATION: EVERETT, WA

Hours: 40 hours a week. July to September 2020.

Compensation: $15-17 per hour DOE.

Job Description: We are seeking applicants who can work objectively, independently, safely, intelligently and with enthusiasm. This position requires 12 months experience in natural resources. Training will be provided where necessary.

The work will take place at the Union Slough Restoration Site. The project area is tidally influenced through three breaches to the dike. Our Resource Technicians will manually remove invasive plant species through hand pulling, bagging, and offsite disposal. Care will be taken to minimize disturbance of the restored estuary and wildlife.
