With forensic examination we can reverse engineer decay and wood stresses to assess and understand patterns prior to tree failure. With a Board Certified Master Arborist and Registered Consulting Arborist with 15 years experience in arboricutlure and distinct training & experience in tree appraisal and tree law, you and your clients can be sure you’re receiving objective evidence-based information.
Our Registered Consulting Arborist has extensive training in objective, legally defensible report writing. He has attended the American Society of Consulting Arborists Consulting Academy and the Community Tree Institute hosted by University of Washington and Oregon State University, both specifically training on objective evidence-based reporting and working with tree and vegetation laws.
Expert testimony is required when specific or technical information and expertise is necessary in legal decision making. We provide such expert testimony and expert consulting in decisions regarding tree biology, tree safety and tree appraisals. Board Certified Master Arborist, John Bornsworth, has sat as an expert witness on numerous cases, both pre-trail and in trial. We provide Expert Witness & Technical Consultant services to plaintiffs or defendants in cases involving tree failure and negligence, personal or property injury, tree theft, construction defect, timber trespass, other tree loss and tree nuisance cases.
