Peninsula Environmental Group recently worked on a street tree inventory and Urban Forest Management Plan for the City of White Salmon. Read the UFMP here.
We gathered data from roughly 130 trees and also captured a picture of each tree and risk assessment of each tree.
We also conducted a forest health analysis. The Gaddis Park Forest Management Plan involved 9 plots of data collection within the park to assess forest composition, species diversity, forest health, etc. We also wrote a report giving advice on how best to manage the park for forest health and simultaneously engage the public to help maintain the trails and continue forest monitoring into the future.
