Courtney is a trained zoologist and marine biologist. She has spent the last five years working in the fields of salmon habitat restoration, botany, and wetland ecology in both Southeast Alaska, and Western Washington. She now spends her time out in the field conducting surveys, designing restoration plans, and assisting with urban forestry consulting for Peninsula Environmental Group. She is a Certified Arborist and a Qualified Tree Risk Assessor through the International Society of Arboriculture. Courtney manages our native plant nursery.
